Fantastic antidepressant lamp Day & Night by designer Eleonore Delisse! The sun lamp is useful for those who suffer from insomnia and are out of sorts in the morning …
The unusual design is able to invigorate immediately after waking up and calm before bed – this is the fruit of the creativity of a recent graduate of the Academy of Design in the Dutch city of Eindhoven. Eleonore believes her brainchild can be the key to sound sleep and wellness every day, year after year..
The artist was closely involved in the art of design and studied ways to transform space in order to find a creative way out of everyday problems.
She admits that the study of the influence of different colors on human behavior is of particular interest to her. It turned out that the perception of shades affects mood and emotional state in different ways depending on the time of day..
While all existing solutions to combat seasonal depression are based on light emission, Eleonore Delisse focuses on the ability of the flow of color to influence our way of thinking and the perception of time. The light level in this case does not matter..
The Day segment starts at 6 a.m. and completes half a revolution before noon. The color range of radiation gradually changes from dark blue to light turquoise. Then there is a break in the program until 6 pm, and then the Night segment starts, the glow of which varies in the spectrum from yellow to dark red. The process ends at midnight.
Already at the stage of testing, which lasted 2 months, the antidepressant lamp demonstrated its high potential. According to Eleonore, she felt the presence of something natural and alive in her home, like a small sun illuminates the space..
The first sample will be presented at the Paris Tools Gallerie this fall. The timing is perfect!
