Fashionable table lamps by Louis Poulsen: model in black
The Danish company Louis Poulsen, specializing in the design and manufacture of lighting fixtures for various purposes, presented fashionable table lamps that immediately attracted the attention of designers and fans of stylish things. This collection is a reimagining of the iconic Panthella lamp, created by the famous Werner Panton in 1971.
Lamps from the Panthella Mini series – and this is the name given to it by the developers – are equipped with metal lampshades with a diameter of 250 millimeters, while standard counterparts are usually 400 mm.
The classic models of Pantone made of white acrylic are still in demand, which was the impetus for the creation of the collection we are considering. It features lamps in a variety of bright colors, borrowed from the work of the legendary master. He himself planned that the bases and lampshades of his products would be made of metal, but in the 70s the technology had not yet been developed that would make it possible to realize all the details of the designer’s plan.
The updated versions of the imperishable masterpiece by Werner Panton are equipped with LED-elements, which assume regulation of the light intensity. The Mini lamps, supplied with metal shades, are available in yellow, orange, lavender, red, pink, blue and green. Acrylic models are also available in white, black and opal..
Someone might say that the authors of this collection took a rather simple path and just modernized the classic example of design art, but this requires a lot of courage.!
