An unusual mansion has appeared on the outskirts of Tehran (Iran), resembling a stack of matchboxes shifted in different directions. The unusual futuristic shape is designed to offer the owners stunning views of the nearby mountains.

Tehran-based architecture firm New Wave Architecture has designed a house located in the north of the Iranian capital. Building name «Three views / A House» (which literally means «three views, perspectives») fully corresponds to the picturesque panoramas that open from the wide windows of the house.
To accommodate a 260 square meter house on a small plot, the architects made it three stories high. But, following the basic concept of being able to maximize the view of the surrounding landscape, each floor is built at a different angle, resembling shifted boxes.

Taking into account the fact that the floors are not parallel to each other, the architects united them with a wooden spiral staircase. The house contains only the necessary interior items made of natural wood. The color scheme is designed in light shades. Such minimalism is intended to focus all attention on the picturesque perspective that opens from wide windows..

The same idea of constructing a building with different perspectives from the windows was used by Zaha Hadid when creating the Messner Museum overlooking the alpine peaks.
