The world knows the famous Russian nesting doll – a set of wooden dolls that are inserted one into one. Serbian designer Sasa Mitrovic has created original multi-colored cases «Matrioshka» («Matryoshka») in which you can store different things.
The readers of our site will be interested in the fact that «Matryoshka» – original modular storage system for an apartment, consisting of wooden cabinets of different sizes and the same shape, perfectly fitting into each other.
Sasa Mitrovic studied in the Italian city of Florence and currently works in Italy and Serbia. The designer created this unique project in collaboration with the studio «TwentyTree», and the cabinets were made in one of the Serbian furniture factories called «S.C.S. plus», which specializes in the production of school furniture, and a furniture factory «Ergomade», located in Denmark.
The set consists of six cabinets, which all fit neatly into the largest orange cabinet. If necessary, you can use only one cabinet, and the rest are folded.
