Bright bedroom in detail

A task: Renew the bedroom, make it bright and sunny, without using expensive materials. The solution to this problem was the use of all types of paint: for painting on fabric, for walls, for furniture; in cans, tubes.

Palette

The first step is to choose a palette and theme. The designer opted for playful colors and summer themes: sunny yellow on walls and carpet, sky blue, hot pink and light green on textile accents.

Headboard

We shift attention to details – we design the headboard. The headboard in this case is a figuratively cut piece of wallpaper glued to the wall.

Patterns

To give this cabinet its own flavor, the designer created a pattern that resembles a honeycomb. How do you create such a pattern? Buy a sheet of adhesive paper and cut out the desired pattern according to a given pattern or example. Apply the paint you want to appear on the lines of the pattern (in the photo it is pink) and let it cool. Glue openwork adhesive paper on top and apply the paint that will be the main one (in the photo it is red).

Lamp shade

This shade on the lamp was originally white with no pattern. But the talented hands of the master, with the help of just a few tricks and paint, made a small masterpiece out of him..

First, apply latex paint all over the shade – spray of the desired color. After the paint is dry, mark the outline of the stem with two strips of duct tape. Use a brush to paint over the area between the ribbons.

Cut out several variants of petals from paper and trace them with paint along the contour. The middle can be painted over or left unpainted.

Wall plates

Plates with fancy butterflies are made in the same way as many other details in this room – with adhesive paper, scissors and paint.

Cushions

With such a rich palette that is present in this room, it is quite difficult to find accessories that will match. Therefore, you need to rely only on your own skills..

Draw the desired lettering on the fabric with a pencil. Brush on the adhesive primer (wiki: a thin layer of a special formulation that is applied over the base to give the surface the desired color or texture properties, and also to limit the intensive absorption of the binder.).

Apply paint of the desired color on top of the primer.
