Apartment in Milan: 28 m2 of happiness for a bachelor
The smaller the apartment, the more you need to show creativity and imagination, find more original solutions and come up with a functional interior design for a bachelor. The designers of the Milan studio did an excellent job with the task.
Unfolded bed
The folded bed is hidden in the lower compartment of the wall
Designers from studioWOK have completed work on a project to decorate the interior of a small apartment in Milan. 28 square meters is not much if you need to find space for a bedroom, living room, home office, kitchen and bathroom. However, the specialists succeeded. Now this is a pretty bachelor’s apartment.
The apartment has been completely transformed thanks to a custom-made plywood furniture wall that hides a fold-out bed, a wardrobe, an air conditioner inside, and an entrance to the bathroom and kitchen on the sides.
Space in the apartment
Balcony exit
This approach allowed the area to be used as a bedroom, living room and dining room, it is enough to make magic passes with two active wooden walls. A large soft couch on wheels at the right moment hides in the lower part of the wall, and a folding dining table appears. A very smart solution for a small apartment, where every centimeter counts.
Kitchen and bathroom in blue and white
The minimalist interior in white and blue colors is filled with a calm and restrained atmosphere. Here, aesthetics are as important as ergonomics. The small balcony is not just an outdoor seating area, it is an extension of the living area. Several live houseplants help complete the look.
