It is natural for a person to strive to decorate his home, make it comfortable and as much «his». The entire interior design business is built on the foundation of this natural desire. But it’s nice to feel like a designer yourself and make something special (and, preferably, beautiful) with your own hands. Do you think this is difficult? Not always. For example, even a beginner can make this stylish lamp. And it looks impressive.

You will need:
• Large round balloon (sold at party supplies stores)
• Lace napkins;
• Wallpaper glue;
• Paint brush.

Step 1

Inflate the balloon and tie it tight.

Step 2

Using a brush, apply a thick layer of wallpaper glue to each lace napkin (on both sides). The lace should literally be soaked in liquid. Once enough glue has been applied, place a tissue paper over the surface of the ball.

Step 3

When the lace covers the entire surface of the ball (or you just run out of napkins), apply another additional layer of glue to the entire structure. Hang up the ball and let it dry overnight.

Step 4

After 10-12 hours «drying» – time of the most dramatic stage. Using a needle, gently burst the ball and remove its mortal remains from under the frozen lace.
