A couple of months ago, Portuguese architect Samuel Goncalves unveiled his new project of a prefabricated modular house called the Gomos System, built in the Portuguese city of Arouca. A distinctive feature of his development, the designer calls the speed of installation of the dwelling – only three days.

The process of creating the Gomos System is divided into four stages: factory production of the module, its interior and exterior decoration, transportation and quick installation. Each module is delivered to its destination with a standard set of additional components: flooring, thermal insulation, windows, doors, electrical wiring, plumbing and facade cladding materials.

The prefabricated house is made up of a series of special reinforced concrete modules (GOMOS) that are interconnected to form a living space. The standard size of the proposed home is 2.35 meters wide and 5.9 meters long. Modules are added at the request of the customer, thereby increasing the size of the house. Also the design can be adapted to different types of terrain. House assembly is carried out under strictly controlled conditions and taking into account all the requirements stipulated by the law.
