Vertical gardens are very popular today. Every day, architects present new variations of decorating the walls of houses with plants. The South Korean firm designed the so-called panels with «pockets». At first glance, they look boring and impersonal, but this is until it rains. After some time, the walls transform, turning into a canvas, on which green, yellow and purple patterns appear in the form of flowers.

Knowing that people love to decorate their homes with plants, the architects of the Korean firm OA: Lab decided to use this when designing the next order. They made the glass-fiber-reinforced concrete walls completely monochromatic, but with small bulges resembling pockets (Pocket Panel).

There is no change to the outside walls of the house until it rains. After some time from «pockets» real flowers appear, which become a unique decor on the facade of the house. The fact is that in each of the cells the seeds of the necessary plants are planted. The convex shape only helps to collect moisture, which promotes the germination of flowers.
