SeaScape – floating villas concept.
Eager to surprise and delight clients, modern architects are designing ever more unexpected dwellings. This time they presented the concept of first-class floating villas. Such hybrids of houses on pontoons can become both a secluded romantic place for couples in love, and whole hotels united with each other..
Project by BMT Asia Pacific Architectural Company.
Specialists of BMT Group, a branch of the international architectural company BMT Asia Pacific, presented an entertaining concept of floating villas «luxury» called SeaScape. These are triangular structures that will float on the water like pontoons.
The area of one villa will be 65 square meters. If the client wishes, its territory can be increased to 170 sq. meters, adding to the standard «set» solarium and swimming pool.
SeaScape. Transparent cylinder.
The main «zest» in this project, according to the authors, there will be a transparent cylinder (diameter 4 meters) in the center of the floating structure, lowered below sea level. Moreover, it will be possible to install a bed there. So exotic lovers can fall asleep watching the beauty of the underwater world..
SeaScape. Floating villas interconnected.
Group BMT Asia Pacific Director Richard Colwill noted that «the new series of floating villas showcases how a simple modular design can combine exceptional luxury and elegance».
Despite the fact that the architects do not position SeaScape as eco-villas, yet their design was not without «green» technologies. The villa will partially use solar and wind energy.
At the moment, the company is looking for sponsors to implement its concept.

In turn, the Serbian design studio Salt & Water is actively developing another dwelling on the water. The architects believe that a catamaran hotel is the best choice for those who like to relax on the water..
