A unique solution by British designer Charlie Davidson who won the competition organized by the Sunniside Partnership company is presented to your attention.
This stunning collection of Streetwalk outdoor chairs has been collaborated with other designers and artists including Bill Fontana, SDNA and KAPOK for High Street in Sunderland, UK.
At first, the author intended to create comfortable and original benches, but abandoned this idea. He came up with the idea of converting stationary public recreation spaces into free-standing units, more elegant and easier to visualize..
Here we managed to completely change the space with such interactive and dynamic elements..
Light and art installation
Chairs made of polymer and cement based material with the addition of mica, colored quartz and marble chips.
In the evening, thanks to LED lamps built into the paving slabs and soundtrack, the modern street art installation comes to life.
The backlight conveys a changing urban mood, turning into an outlandish floral arrangement, somewhat reminiscent of a similar urban development project D Tower from NOX.
