The trend towards suburban construction of houses from environmentally friendly materials is triumphant throughout the world, and Russia is no exception. Many private buildings are erected from wood, so there is a need for interior designers to find new solutions, for example, for the design of houses from laminated veneer lumber.
A group of designers from the architecture studio have developed a kind of interior design for a house from a bar. The total area of the house is two hundred square meters. Thanks to a non-standard approach, there is a lot of air and light in the rooms.
Out-of-town buildings in northwestern Russia rarely accompany open-type pools. In this case, to complement the design of the house made of laminated veneer lumber, a small outdoor pool was created, in the style of the entire building.
The customer set the goal of creating a design for a house from a bar – a spacious and comfortable, minimalist-style house. Wood is present around the entire perimeter of the premises, in the walls, so that the wooden covering does not overload the space, it was covered with a white stain.
For the design of houses made of laminated veneer lumber, too “wooden” space, perhaps, painting, this is the only option when you can not use additional finishing materials and use the natural texture of wood.
The presented interior design of a house from a bar is sustained in a more than restrained manner, even bright color accents, coral on the stairs, turquoise in the common room, in furniture decoration and in kitchen furniture. Everything looks smooth, but not enough “warmly”. A modern fireplace in a high box, a textured wall behind a television panel, somewhat softens the overall “cold” attitude.
The only bright room in the design of a house from a bar, the authors of the project, allowed it to be a nursery. A delicate pink hue, complemented by a bright carpet and several textured lamps, goes well with bleached walls and makes the room very cozy..
Of the interesting and useful finds in the interior design of a house made of timber, one can note wide window openings, the use of various lighting fixtures and lamps, a designer storage system for the kitchen.
