Making paper flowers from corrugated paper with your own hands is very simple. Thanks to this technique, it is possible to create whole bouquets of original flowers. Decorate your house or garden with it, and please your household.
To create large flowers from corrugated paper, you will need to purchase:
- sheets of multi-colored corrugated paper (the number of sheets is 6-8 pieces, size 50×80 centimeters);
- paper clips in an amount equal to sheets of paper (6-8 pieces);
- scissors for paper;
- soft thin wire.
First of all, before making paper flowers from corrugated paper, choose a place that is comfortable and sufficient for work. Take a sheet of colored corrugated paper and begin to squeeze and fold it like an accordion. Try to keep the resulting folds in line with the corrugation lines on the paper. Each bend should be no more than 5 centimeters in width.
Now we need paper clips. Use them to fasten the resulting folded stripes for large flowers from corrugated paper.
Place all the colored stripes on the work surface in the order that you have determined for yourself. Take paper scissors and cut off the ends of the folded strips so that you get “ladder”. Each subsequent strip should be approximately 4 centimeters less than the previous one. For example, if initially the first of them was 50 centimeters, then the second will be 46 centimeters, the third – 42 centimeters, the fourth – 38 centimeters. Etc.
Now you can decorate the edges of our corrugated paper flower strips. They can be made either smooth or sharp. Do it on both sides.
Walk through the finished folds of the colored stripes with scissors, cutting them to the middle (we do not cut the place where the clip is located) on both sides. Do this along all the folds..
We remove the paper clips from our strips and place them on the table, in order. Starting from the longest strip and ending with the shortest. Now, the resulting multicolor, squeeze back into an accordion.
Drag in the center with a wire.
In the next step, start lifting up from the common ligament, each strip separately on both sides, smoothing them. Do this by successively straightening each color..
