House Casa Brutale.
This concept house will match the secret lair of a true super villain. And very soon one such house will appear on the territory of Libya. A billionaire ordered the construction of this masterpiece.
Concrete and glass.
Imagine for a moment that you have become a super villain and think about what is an essential attribute of any such character? That’s right, a secret hideout. More recently, the concept of a residential building in a sheer cliff was presented. The project was named Casa Brutale and was designed by a group of architects from Greece and the Netherlands. For a long time, the project remained exclusively conceptual, but later it became known that the billionaire, who wished to remain unnamed, ordered the construction of exactly the same house.
Pool instead of a ceiling.
Despite all the anonymity, the creators still shared some details regarding the project. Casa Brutale will be built somewhere in Libya, along with a suitable landscape for the concept. The housing will be located at an altitude of about 1,800 meters above sea level. The project will cost its future owner 2.5 million US dollars, and construction will last until the end of 2018.
Right in the rock.
The house will be built of concrete. Many of the interior elements at Casa Brutale will also be concrete. Almost the entire task will be in the rock. You can go down to the house by stairs or an elevator. The housing provides for several storey shelves. The roof of the house is a huge glass pool with water. It is assumed that when exposed to sunlight, such a roof will create many colorful reflections. The house also has a huge panoramic window. The client Casa Brutale wants the house to be built with a sea view, as presented in the architects’ concept.
With sea views.
According to the founders of Casa Brutale, at the moment they continue to work on finding a number of engineering solutions necessary for the implementation of the project. In particular, we are talking about a system that would protect the ceiling-pool from possible earthquakes.
Let’s continue the topic with a story about a modular house with an area of 37 sq. meters where you can live all year.
