Due to the total shortage of free space in megacities, architects are increasingly proposing to master the water surface of rivers and canals. One of the design firms presented a prototype of such a structure intended to be located on the water. Inside it can be a residential building, office space or retail space..

Floodule can also be used in winter. The house has underfloor heating. And a special heated hose keeps the water from freezing.

The house weighs 15 tons and sinks into the water by only 20 cm. The main building material is epoxy laminate. The cost of such a dwelling, according to the developers, will take about $ 1,070 per square meter..
