The design of a wooden house from a bar was made in a European style with light oriental elements, laconic and modern.
Colour
The color scheme was easy to determine: dark floors, as is customary in oriental styles, and light colors on the walls. On the ground floor, natural colors prevail – gray, beige, various tones of brown. Warm color accents were added to this natural range: orange, red, as well as bright multi-colored stripes on the carpet..
Wood finishing on the lower floor, where the kitchen with dining area and living room are located, “lightened” using white. Decorative fabrics on the ceiling gave the atmosphere a lightness and solemnity. Bedrooms in the interior of the house made of laminated veneer lumber, located on the second floor, are designed in two colors: olive prevails in the master’s room, and a delicate lilac shade in her daughter’s room.
Furniture
In the design of a wooden house from a bar, exclusive furniture was used, which was carried out according to author’s projects. This is, first of all, a storage system in the bedroom and nursery, as well as furniture for the living room area. The rest was found in the Italian furniture catalog, and only for the kitchen they chose a set of German production.
The furniture has very simple shapes with glossy facades. Against the background of such minimalism, individual decorative elements of ethnicity look especially good: a curbstone near the headboard, a cocoon-shaped armchair suspended by the bed. These elements contrast with the sleek lacquer and geometric shapes of the furniture and harmonize with the wood paneling.
Storage systems
There was enough space for storage systems in the interior of the house made of laminated veneer lumber. The main one is in the entrance area, in terms of size it is not even a wardrobe, but a large room set aside for storing things that are not used in the current season.
A dressing area with tall wardrobes is formed in the master bedroom behind the headboard. The wardrobes fit organically into the nursery and the guest room, which at the same time serves as a study.
Lighting
The living room’s wood surfaces were softened with sail-like textiles. Behind these sails are lighting devices that give daylight. The fabric for canvases and lamps is special – it cannot catch fire even with prolonged heating. All lamps in the house are modern, designed by well-known companies.
To add an oriental flavor, ethnic-style lamps were placed near the beds. Similar in style, but in a different shape, lamps were placed near the sofa in the living area.
In the design of a wooden house from a bar, a non-standard lighting system is used in the nursery: a track descends along an inclined ceiling, on which spotlights are fixed. In addition, there is general lighting – a suspension with a shade, and additional lighting at different levels – a floor lamp and sconces.
Another non-standard lighting element is a very long chandelier, as it were, consisting of several separate chandeliers strung on a common base – it descends in the staircase from the second floor to the first.
Decor
A lot of different textiles are used in the interior of the house made of laminated veneer lumber. He is on the floor, and on the ceiling, and on the walls. Delicate “sail” the ceiling is given a solemn and formal touch, a patterned carpet on the floor and textile panels, with the help of which the living area is separated from the dining room, add an oriental flavor.
These openwork panels also add symmetry. The wall near the stairs is finished with a similar fabric. Ethnic objects were used as decorative elements – a drum in the living room, an elephant sculpture in the bedroom.
